- Which Vaccine will I be receiving?
The government has supplied the Astra Zeneca vaccines to all GP clinics - How many injections will I require?
You will require 2 injections, 12 weeks apart. We recommend booking your 2nd vaccine at time of booking your 1st dose. - Do I need 2 injections of the same brand of vaccine?
Yes, you will require a 2nd booster injection 12 weeks following the initial vaccine, and it must be the same brand. - What are the common side effects?
The most common side effects are: Sore arm, Headache, Fatigue, Muscle pain, Fever and chills, Joint pain and Nausea - Are there any fees involved?
The COVID-19 vaccine is bulk-billed for valid medicare card holders. However, please note that the COVID-19 clinic is strictly a vaccination clinic. For any non-Covid-19 vaccine matters, please book a separate GP appointment. - How do I know if I am eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine now?
The covid-19 eligibility checker will guide you to when you are able to receive your vaccine. - Is there anything else I should know on the day?
You will be required to wait for 15 minutes following the vaccination to monitor for side effects. If you develop any side effects you are worried about after the immunisation, please see your doctor. You can also report suspected side effects to NPS Medicinewise on 1300 134 237.
